Anyone try booking HGVC resortime? I am kind of surprise to see HGVC can book Westin Kierland Villa, Westin Desert Willow and Westin Mission Hills.

The number of points required for ResorTime seem to be extremely high compared to the number of points required at most of our Club Resorts.

For example....
The Westin Kierland Villa starts at 1556 Points per night.
Under the Accomodations description it displays a description for a one bedroom deluxe and one bedroom premium (no two bedrooms)

A typical standard one bdrm at most of our Club Resorts during the highest season is 480 points per weekday night / 960 points per weekend night

A typical standard two bdrm at most of our Club Resorts during the highest season is 700 points per weekday night / 1400 points per weekend night

For the cash resortime reservations, does it have to be owner or can you make a reservation for someone else?

For Open Season reservations (cash reservations, made within 30 days of check in), the owner must be present to check in. This is meant to be an owner-only perk.

However, you can reserve multiple rooms and have guests stay in them, as long as you are checking in as well.

You can actually book about 32 properties using your points as an HGVC Elite Member through ResorTime. The points needed to book varies, we run a lot of specials so please note that the points needed are not a fixed amount and will vary.
