HGVC Land and Sea offer

Hello all,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I had small changes to questions already asked.

I recently was just offered the HGVC Land and Sea $499 offer to come visit the properties. The four locations we were offered were Vegas, Orlando, Mrytle Beach, and (I forgot the other location) and then either Bahamas or Cozumel through Royal Carribean.

1.) Out of these options which is the best to go see? (to get moneys worth, experience, resort rating, etc)

2.) Are there any tips we should know? (is there a way to upgrade to the Hawaii locations)

3.) We recently did this through Westin. From what I read through this forum the Westin Vacation club is better, is this correct?

1. The Myrtle Beach resorts are nice, especially if you go to Ocean 22 or Ocean Enclave. Orlando is nice too, but if you aren't going to the theme parks, it is less attractive. If you like Vegas (or have never been), Vegas would be a great choice as well.

2. Can't help you here.

3. Not sure where this is coming from. Those here on this forum (The HGVC forum) like the system. The resorts are very high quality and the service is great. They have over 50 resorts to choose from, with more on the way. The system is extremely flexible, treats their owners very well and gives almost the same rights and privileges to their resale owners (can't get elite status with most resale purchases). I'm resale and can book any resort like any other Flamingo owners can. The sales staff are known for their do anything to get you to sign tactics, but most time share salespeople are like that. Simple fix to that - don't go to a sales presentation!
