I just got back from another great stay at this resort. This is becoming one of my Favorites..
Rooms are great, staff is great.. Pool is not crowded at all. I love the location for the off the strip feel, yet you are still very close to all the action via monorail, taxi or car.
I won't bring my kids to the Flamingo location during the summer.. too much chaos and partying in the hotel pool.

anyway, the point of my post is.. make sure to always bring your owners card.
I forgot mine.. but to get a temp or a replacement.. they told me I had to go to the Flamingo or the new location. I spend a decent amount at the deli and pool bar, so the 10% off is not a ton, but it helps.

I also forgot my Hiton honors Gold card.. so no free breakfast buffet for me at the Hilton.

So remember those cards.

ohh one other thing.. I took the kids to the Adventuredome in Circus Circus.. It was nicer than I thought it would be. They had fun.
although parking is horrible at Circus Circus and the casino/hotel is a dump.
I'd sleep in my car before I'd stay there

That is so funny, to bad it's true.

PS to add: "on Karen" is the name of the side street the TS is on, Correct?

Use the free valet and you should be able to just walk in the front door.

Valet was full.. I made the mistake of going in the parking garage. It took 30 minutes to drive the entire garage, then get back out without a parking spot.

by the way.. This was a Sunday at 3pm.. I would have thought one of the slowest days of the week.

I hate it when the valet is full. Makes one wonder if it were really full at 3 PM on a Sunday or if there was something else going on. Maybe some repaving, some sort of work or a lack of valet's to park cars.

For the most part, I pretty much avoid CC anymore. I can't say I've set foot in the place in the last 5 years.

I've wondered about that. Do you just show up with your card? Don't they ask for your room number?

Yes, but they accept room #'s from HGVC on Karen

How much are developer prices at the HGVC Hilton locations that are still in sales?
Thanks,

What other perks can a Gold/Diamond Hhonors member get at HGVC resorts?

I think you typically only get perks, if you book a rental stay.. The breakfast at the Hilton is the only one I know you can get staying as an owner.

CaliDave,

I recently bought at the HGVC Las Vegas Hilton. I closed escrow through HGVC about 2 months back. When do you get your owner card? I received the tan briefcase with the luggage tag and brochures, but no owner card. Is it mailed separately and how long does it take to get the card? Thanks.

I thought everything was mailed together, but I can't remember for sure.

Call owner services and ask and congrats on your purchase.
I see you live in So Cal. HGVC is great for those Vegas weekend getaways.
