There is an ALDI that is literally right outside the gates next to the Publix that is so frickin' cheap for food. I can't tell the difference between name brand and ALDI brand. Its costed me $95 for two giant boxes of food that fit onto a luggage cart easily.

How many Wyndhams are you hitting in this trip? Making me feel like a slacker.

I just blew through my remaining 2020 and 2021 points lol. I still have enough points for 3 Bonnet Creek value season rentals incase the market comes back and that's it! I did Bonnet 5 nights, Sea Gardens 3 nights and Reunion 5 nights. I went home between each one. I'm resale so I only book weekdays and go home on the weekend lol.

My update at Reunion only lasted 15 mins and I got 30,000 Wyndham Rewards for $40. They would only give me 15,000 for free. I just said I'm getting a small Worldmark account for the 13 month ARP that a retail membership won't give me and I just use my Marriott DC membership (which I don't actually have) for short stays since they dont have housekeeping fees or number of night requirements and that my parents always use my 2 guest certs when I have extra points I dont need. That rebuddled every "selling point" of a retail membership real quick.

Use your points while you can. Who knows if there will be another shutdown and how long it will last. [Political remark redacted.]

My thoughts exactly. Also bookings are pretty low so I can social distance pretty easily.

Don't feel bad about using your points. We just got home today. Presidential Villas at Plantation to Emerald Grande to Ocean Walk to Lake Marion. 19 nights though it should have been 22 but we delayed going out due to demonstrations.

We leave mid October for our annual 180 day winter trip (snowbirds). All at Wyndham resorts: Nashville to Daytona Beach to Washington DC (several nights stay over in Myrtle Beach to and from the Inauguration) to Daytona Beach to Destin to Nashville to home. The virus caused us to cut our trip short by several days last March. I hope the virus doesn't impact us this year.

Here is why I like the Reunion deluxe rooms so much more than Bonnet Creek deluxe rooms. The fridge is much larger with filtered water and an ice maker. It's just like the presidential fridges. The living room and master bath have beautiful ceilings and better light fixtures. The patio on the inner units have lounge chairs when you walk out the sliding glass door from the bedroom. They're great for moning coffee and you're backed onto the golf course. The sliding glass door is a double door from the living room and both doors have screens, unlike Bonnet Creek. I like to crank up the air and leave them open. The fresh air feels amazing.

The 3 bedrooms at Reunion are cheaper than Bonnet Creek and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The corner units have a bigger 2nd master and bathroom if you are travelling as 2 couples. The corner units also have a smaller balcony but are bigger inside, mainly in the 2nd king bedroom/bathroom. I like the corner ones more. They also have more windows with better lighting. If you want a corner, request room 201, 204, 301, or 304. Each building has a letter in front of the room number, like J304. If you want an inner room, request 401 or 402. The buildings are only 4 stories tall with 2 units on the 4th floor. The 4th floor rooms have the inner floorplan because the ac units are on the 4th floor as well. If you have little ones, request villas north so the splash pad is withing walking distance.

I also like how the TVs are all wall mounted and already have an HDMI cable ran through the wall so you can plug in your electronics super easily. I always bring a computer, Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 with me for entertainment since I hate cable. The rooms also have their very own router so the bandwidth is much better since less people are connected.
