Help with HGVC purchase

Im thinking offering $2000 1 bedroom Penthouse Vegas Strip 4200 HGVC annual points, MF $551.95 at www.HGVresales.com with Ryan and or Jerry.

I currently found on their website 2 bedroom 5000 points for $2500. I think I'd rather have this one but I have heard back just yet.

We will use the Hilton Points mostly every other year and plan never to visit Vegas. We are in the process of acquiring an EOY at Hacienda Del Mar in Cabo.

Is there any benefit to having a Penthouse unit?
Does anyone have experience with either of these two gentleman?
Does anyone know if resale owners can book in New Zealand, Bali or Phuket?

Penthouse units require more points, so in essence you can get more points buying a one bedroom penthouse instead of a regular one bedroom. Since you don't plan to stay there, there's no other benefit to you. It would help you book that type of room 12 months out at your home resort if you did want to use it.

Hilton doesn't have the locations you mentioned, but you can trade in RCI for those. Resale owners can use RCI the exact same way retail buyers can.

Another question. What does the designation "plus" and "premier" in terms of room quality and amenities?

For example: 2 bedroom plus or 2 bedroom premier.

Yes, resale owners can book into the Anantara Vacation Club resorts in New Zealand, Bali, Phuket or Bankok. Just not sure how long HGVC and Anantara will be affiliated.
