My grandson is barely two and always says, "Help, help!" I need help now too.

I choose all of my points that are leftovers from exchanges, and I should be able to get around 114 Points for the combine. I go through to payment, enter my CC#, and I get to a screen that says it didn't work and to call RCI.

Is there some trick to this? I tried the compatibility view. Maybe a different browser? Seriously, I am not calling RCI for help. It's never sure whether I will get a helpful person, or one that talks down to me like I am too stupid to believe. :annoyed:

I would call and talk to web support. There's no price difference between combining online or on the site, so there's no downside to calling.

Before you do that, though, I would consider whether it's better to have one 114 point deposit or two "smaller" deposits of about 57 points each. With two deposits, you can set up two ongoing searches, and 57 points would grab almost everything except Manhattan Club (which you wouldn't want to get through RCI Weeks anyway).

I can't combine, set up ongoing searches, use the deposit calculator, or see pictures on IE. The compatibility view does not help. I always get the message to call. But, on Foxfire all of those functions work for me so I only use Foxfire now for RCI. I would give it a try since it is a free browser. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Michael. I have tried to combine these over and over again this last few days. I guess I will call.

I already have three 59's, and one 37 pointer.

I just used a bunch of my smaller ones to book Bonnet Creek and Vistana Fountains for October. Two units each week, two week trip with kids and grandkids. Total used for four weeks was only 52 points, all 2 bedrooms. How can you beat it? Disney would cost that much for one week, plus the $95 fee. I couldn't resist the bargains. I wanted Hilton SeaWorld, but our daughter wanted Bonnet Creek. Both were available, and we got Bonnet Creek.

Now I suppose Parc Soleil will appear for a bargain # of points and I will be sorry I booked these. And Parc Soleil is so close to Twistee Treat, too. I tried to find Cypress Pointe for our dates, but nothing available. CP is very close to Twistee Treat.

I did notice that if any of the points have an expiration date after 2 yrs from the day you are trying to combine, it will not let you use those points. Do any of your points expire after 2/24/14?

Most of my points expire after that 2/2014. As a matter of fact, more than half don't expire until 7/2015.

I haven't called RCI yet. I have to get help with the chimney cleaning phone to take the time to call RCI, and no one is available to help with it. I never ignore the phone at this time of year. Ho hum, such a boring life I lead over here, when I am not on vacation.

Hi Cindy,
Don't know if this will help you or may be old news. Last week I had an account question and needed to contact RCI and didn't want to call either. I signed into my account (weeks) and clicked the 'My Account' tab. Once there, highlight any of the below names: update account, renew, etc...and the green 'live help' button will appear. I used this for my question and they were able to help me within minutes. It might be worth a try or at least maybe they can have someone call YOU back instead of floating around their system. Good luck!

Jackie

Are you talking about RCI Points or Weeks? If you are talking about weeks the amount of 114 TPU's in once combination might be too high.

LOL! Cindy, you really like Twistee Treat, don't you? :whoopie:

Dori

Yes, we do! It's so good, and the little store also sells great coffee drinks for the colder days/ evenings.

The soft serve ice cream the store sells is the best we have ever had. I love the stuff. We have a Dairy Queen about a mile from our house, and we never go there. It's really not great.

I am always surprised to see cars lined at the DQ drive-up window on those hot summer nights. I want to say to those people, "Just buy a bucket of Blue Bunny. Save yourself some money and eat better stuff."
