I am trying to find out exactly how to transfer the title from joint names into just one.
I have contacted Marriott but have not received a reply.

In Australia, transferring my other T/S is a piece of cake - download a form, fill it out & send it off with a small cheque & court documents and the deal is done.

I just need one of the names taken off the deed and my solicitor her has no idea how to deal with it. I don't think they would be able to draw up a contract for a US property anyway.
I don't want to have to pay a fortune as I already own it and I am paying a solicitor here to handle my impending divorce.

As I am in OZ and my T/S is in Nevada, how do I go about it? What will it cost & who can do it for me?
Can Marriott handle the deeds? This would make it a whole lot easier.

Any thoughts?

Marriott can only help you after you have the name taken off the deed.

It an easy two step process.

-record a new deed with only the one name with the county which the TS is located.
- After recording the deed, contact Marriott and let them know that the TS is only in your name and send them a copy of the deed.

It may be easiest to pay a TS transfer company to do this for you. There are several recommended in the how to sell your TS thread
