I went on the internet yesterday and booked a full unit instead of the studio for next February (this is our owned property). I realized it too late. I emailed customer services but was told the only way to cancel is to call. We are traveling and do not have access to a phone. Is there any way to cancel by internet?
Thanks for any help.

You could try the chat on MVC if you have access to that. Earlier this year when the phone lines were very busy they canceled a points reservation for me by chat.

No need to either worry or rush.

You have reserved the week you actually want. When you have access to a phone then call them up, lock off your reservation, cancel the one bedroom part of the reservation and either book another week for your one bedroom or deposit it into Interval International.

Easy process!

That assumes it's a lockoff reserved or that there is availability in the studio. I doubt chat would be able to split it and I think it'll require a supervisor which isn't a big deal by phone. They can also email and sometimes they'll do so. I'd at least send an email with the information as there may be a cancelation fee involved in this situation where applicable. I've also been told by CS that canceling on the Marriott.com website will cancel but I wouldn't do so in this case as it may tie up the entire unit even if it's successful.
