help on the "1 in 4 rule" ...spinnaker HHI

looking for some insight on the 1 in 4 rule. where are some of the places that this rule affects TS the most?

does this include week system trades and points(I found out ..yes); how about last chance or rental, does it matter Through different exchange companies, i.e. Dial , RCI or II . who keeps track and is responsible for enforcing??

In particular spinnaker's policy on HHI.. I'm not sure if this is for each resort (I think they have like 6 on island) IE , if we stayed at waterside, can we not stay at the cottages the nest year? how about a different state or area.
it looks like you could get 3 units during one week or a unit 2 weeks in a row, is that right?

I can report that we recently booked on line (points) the cottages and were not even sure if we had stayed there before, and if so, when we had... 10 days later RCI called and informed me we had stayed there 3 and a half years ago, they were very nice and just reversed the exchange . I asked how I would know in the future, they said I could find it in my Weeks account history, they had. However later I looked and that history was not available to me.

spinnaker is 1-4 for all HHI properties

spinnaker enforces 1-4 for exchanges to ANY spinnaker on HHI. So, you can't flip Waterside for Cottages the next year, etc. I do not know if they count extra vacations thru RCI, some places do and other do not. I have heard that 1-4 is waived for Spinnaker owners (don't know if you have to won HHI or not), and this is pretty standard for other places, as well. Some buy a cheap unit within the network to bypass 1-4 then trade in more often with other TS they own. Elaine
