Trying to decide where to go in September. It is down to either Lagunamar, which we love vs. trying to get in at Harborside. I know Lagunamar and know that the resort will be up and running full tilt with virtually nothing shut down. However, what about Harborside? I am hearing that pools, restaurants, etc. can/will be shut down in hurricane season. Is this true? What would you do?

Airfare will cost about the same to either destination for us. I know food will cost less in Cancun and right now the exchange rate will benefit us more in Cancun.

There hasn't been any Staroption availability at Harborside for the entire summer - hard to say if there will be any for September.

It is showing availability right now for the dates I am looking at in September for Harborside for a mid week arrival, from a one bedroom all the way up to a 3 bedroom.
