Hi ...

I'm a new member here and need some help. I have a timeshare to rent but am stuck trying to fill out the classified form. I'm a points owner, and as such, we use points and don't have specific weeks of usage, etc. I'm trying to rent out a ski vacation reservation, but my choices for 'type' are: Fixed, Floating, Points, Other. My problem is that I am trying to rent out a 5 night reservation, not a full week. Obviously, I can't use Fixed or Floating. If I use Points, it wants to know how many ... I'm not trying to rent it out for points. I get a warning about using Other and it doesn't allow me to enter start and stop dates.

My question is: do I use Other and just enter the dates and information in the body of the text portion, or am I missing something and/or doing it wrong?

Appreciate any help for this newbie to the site.

Thanks in advance!

Brian --- Thanks for the response. The article is helpful, but doesn't exactly answer my question. I'm not renting points either, I already have a reservation -- just not for a full week. Guess that just leaves the Other option and I'll list the dates available in the headline and the main text.

ah ok...sorry I didnt read that from your Original post!

if you are listing a single week already reserved, this is essentially a fixed week. just select the date range you have reserved and itll translate to the correct week.

you would need to mention (suggested in the ad title) that this reservation is only 5 days..and to be extremely clear in the description which 5 days of the week its covering to ensure no confusion on the part of a potential renter.
