Help! Both my parents died who were owners at The Ridge Tahoe - what do I do??

I attended a meeting hosted by Consumer Law Protection. They said resorts could go after the estates. They could foreclose, and then garnish bank accounts of the estates. They say they have 70 lawyers that specialize in getting people out of timeshares. They wanted to charge me $5,000, but they said it was guaranteed. Has anyone heard of this outfit Consumer Law Protection, 8600 Daniel Dunkin Blvd. Pevely, MO 63070??
No they cannot!!!! You can turn down anything an estate leaves to you. This is a lie they tell, and you are spreading the lie. What motive do you have for putting that company's address on this post? You are looking like a scammer to me. I am reporting you.

Okay, I don't like the idea of an advertisement for this company on TUG. But you have to know that they cannot go after the estate for anything. The contract isn't with the estate, it's with the individual.

Talk to LT Transfers they can help you get the Timeshare put in your name they are TUG members too. It sounds like you want to keep it, so I hope it works out for you.

LT Transfers cannot avoid the problem that the property must go through probate.

If the property is really worth only $1 (which is likely), it will be cheaper to let your parents' unit be foreclosed upon and to buy another one for $1.

As shared in the letter sent to you in April of this year, Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated purchased The Ridge Resorts on Nov. 12, 2019. Your ownership Agreement included a provision allowing Resort Realty, LLC, Resorts West Vacation Club or its assignee (“Purchaser”) to purchase your timeshare interest. At the time of your resort’s purchase, we became that assignee.

He claimed that he will advertise my timeshare and sell it very fast, wanted to charge an upfront fee of $1,500 for advertisements and transfer fees. The fee got my attention; any of you ever heard of them?

While following these comments. I want to share that I spoke to someone today who claimed that he is with the “Timeshare Group LLC. He claimed that he will advertise my timeshare and sell it very fast, wanted to charge an upfront fee of $1,500 for advertisements and transfer fees. The fee got my attention; any of you ever heard of them?
Do not use any company that charges an upfront fee. There are plenty of honest brokers who will list without any upfront money.
