Hello and many thanks for all the info; sending recission letter tomorrow

We just returned from FL where we stayed in Wyndham's new Panama City resort and their Ocean Walk resort in Daytona. We have owned Wyndham since 2006, and had a sales pitch to increase our points to the VIP (300K) level, do an equity transfer, and, can you guess, get deeply debt for the next decade.

We want to thank you so much for all of your posts about recission and guidance on resale purchases.

If anyone can provide sample text of a recission letter, can you please send asap - we need to send tomorrow (Monday, Jan 7). We have a draft ready, but wanted to get a few opinions.

Whatever you send, as long as it's clear you rescind, will work. Congratulations on coming to the right decision. Adding FSP points is great if you'll use them - but NEVER at retail, always resale.

Get that letter in the mail & thank heavens you made the right financial move to rescind.

Thanks for confirming that it's not the challenge that we've heard it to be. Can anyone confirm the Wyndham fax number? We've seen two different numbers. Thanks, L

Make sure that you follow the recission instructions to the letter. A fax alone will not suffice.

Yes, thanks. We're only faxing today because it's Sunday. Tomorrow, getting originals notarized and sent overnight by USPS (for tracking by gov, assurance of receipt, etc).

We planned to send original, notarized letters to Wyndham contract division in LV, the resort where the contract was drawn, and the resort we intended to buy.

Any other guidance is most welcome. Thanks, L
