My BIL and his wife are visiting from Oahu and he said Hawaiian Airline pilots might go on strike in the near future. Anyone else know anything about this?

I'll start laughing after I finish crying. I finally convinced my husband to pack everything he needs for a 2 week Hawaiian vacation into a fanny pack. I've decided to let the baby and toddler run naked on the beach. So we resolved the issue of fighting for overhead space or paying $500 for checked luggage. But now you're telling me I have to pull a Tom Hanks and build a raft out of old FedEx boxes to get from Oahu to the Big Island and back.

Speedos take up too much space. Thongs are the ticket. Now if we can just figure out what to do for swimwear.

Does anyone have the "inside scoop" on the Hawaiian Airlines Pilots dispute.I have read a little here, but I am anxious to know more because of a big AA award being utilized in February on Hawaiian Airlines.
