Just got this email from Hawaiian Airlines:

"Book your trip to Maui today and sit back, relax, and let us serve you complimentary Hawaiian-inspired regional cuisine curated by our executive chef, Chef Chai. We will never let you fly hungry!

Continental U.S. – Hawaii starting from $298

Booking Period:
Nov 15 – Nov 29, 2011
Travel Period:
Jan 5, 2012 – Feb 14, 2012"

Alll Hawaiian Air fares are one-way, so $298 is one way.

My apologies - since their fares are only sold one way, their Ads are usually for one way prices. That's excellent!

Here's the fine print - notated at the $298 rate - from my email

"Book: 11/15 - 11/29/2011. Fares available for roundtrip travel between Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Oakland, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Sacramento, CA, San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA and Honolulu, HI from 1/5/2012 - 2/14/2012. Fares available for roundtrip travel between Las Vegas, NV, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA and Kahului, HI from 1/5/2012 - 2/14/2012. Limited seat availability for fare offers. Fares shown above are based on routes between Portland, OR, and Honolulu, HI. Fares are subject to seat availability during the travel period shown and may change at any time without notice. Prices displayed include Base Fare, Fuel Surcharge and U.S. Taxes. Additional cost of $3.70 ZP tax per segment (defined as one takeoff and one landing), a $2.50 per enplanement September 11th Security Fee (not to exceed $10) and PFC surcharge of $4.50 (not to exceed $18 roundtrip) where applicable will be applied. Other restrictions apply. Additional baggage charges may apply."

So the $298 fare was actually for Portland - Honolulu flights under a lead-in for rates to Maui....

Anyway, I was sharing in case it helped anyone...sorry I wasn't more specific. I do see some great rates, which is nice because prices were/are sky-high for the Holiday 2011 timeframe and never really changed...

We need tickets for October :(

Ohhhh Ohhh we FINALLY need tickets :cheer:
Last trip to Maui 2008  next trip 2012 :D

This is what the email stated:

The cheapest RT from Las Vegas to Maui ...
Does that mean that we should take our plane to LAS then Hawaiian to Maui? ;)
