Hawaii timeshare closing costs?

I have two weeks (on same deed) for a Hawaii timeshare that I’m considering listing to give away here on TUG. These have a great MF to TPU ratio. I would want the new owner to pay closing costs and I thought I read at one time that there was a different and perhaps more costly process for HI deeds. Reaching out to see if someone could give me an idea what to expect closing to cost for this deed of two units. Thanks.

Hawaii timeshares require escrow to be held in Hawaii. If there is no escrow, then it doesn't apply. A timeshare giveaway wouldn't be subject to that rule. I would contact readylegal@gmail (LT Timeshare Transfer) and make sure of that, but I think they can do the closing for you.

What timeshare are you giving away?

I closed on Maui Banyan (two weeks) on 12/6/2021 and Soleil Management was the management company. I purchased it direct from the owner but used Chicago Title to managing the transfer of ownership. Soleil Management charged the following fees:
$400 Transfer fee ($200x2)
$700 General Fund fee ($350x2)
$140.62 Hawaii Deed Fee
The entire process took 6 months with myself and the owner in weekly and sometimes daily contact (the last month) with Soleil and Chicago Title
