What are my chances of exchanging into a Marriott or a Westin (summer 2010) anywhere in Hawaii using my Royal Resort week 25.
If I place the request now, it would be about 18 months out. I will join II and pay their fees if there is any chance of getting the exchange.

The Westin Resorts do Bulk Space Banking and they mostly deposit off-season weeks. If you use the search function on the Sightings Board, you can see what weeks have been deposited in the past.

I deposited a 1BR about 15 months out and got KoOlina 4th of July week last summer. At about 4 weeks to check-in I was able to upgrade to a 2BR. As the price of airfare has risen so, apparently, has Hawaii availability by my observations. I should add that I had Marriott preference to secure this exchange.

Just curious as to what 1BR week you use to secure the Ko Olina? you paid another exchange fee for the upgrade?
