having trouble getting into Interval International/ signing in and creating membership

Villa Del Palmar Cabo- Gold weeks
I did the sign in process, and then did the create a new profile, and I get a note that says they have a membership on file, but I or them can't seem to find it, I want to create and II membership so I can deposit the weeks, and then exchange for something else. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get past this problem. Should I call my home resort and start there, any ideas, I am lost on what to do.
