Several times the reading stops and its like the old days when a record would skip. Makes a noise like....tikka...tikka...and won't stop. Even after pushing the off button. Goes on long enough that I begin to wonder if it will keep on doing it till the battery runs out. It has happened on more than one book. Has this happened to anyone? And should I contact Amazon or Audible.

Amazon support is wonderful. Have them call you. Sure beats being on hold. My guess is that a hard reset (hold the power button until it turns off- black screen- then restart) but I am not support.
