Has there been a recent change in RCI allowing tradeups to larger units?

I have been a very happy RCI member for many years - always depositing our beach weeks 20 to 24 months in advance. We own mid -May and July 4th GC Hilton Head weeks that have always traded great and we have never had a problems getting a 2 br for our 1 br unit in some really nice locations and resorts. However, this has not been the case in the last 6 months - I have literally matched none of my ongoing request. Looks like for the first time in my RCI membership, I will not have my desired vacation. Placed a request for the Ft. Lauderdale area for a specific week in March 06 about a year out and have not yet confirmed a match. Guess it is unlikely at this point.

Has there been a recent change in RCI's policy allowing owners to trade up in unit size - which is hampering my ongoing search?

RCI's Trading Power guidelines have not undergone any significant changes in many years. Unit size is still just one component of Trading Power, and it is not at all uncommon for smaller deposits to exchange for larger units when other factors such as demand are strong.
