I've got photos saved all over...
Want to gather together.
I signed up for a MSFT account to store them, but that doesn't help with the gathering.

We use google photos. It doesn't help you get them all from various places but you can import them into one location and allows you to store by date and location plus we have a TV over our fireplace with a chromecast connected to it that just rotates through the photos so we actually see them (works great and shows the date/location with each picture as they pop up). We, literally, have ten of thousands of photos that we were not looking and the chromecast option allows us to see them all the time. Plus, we have Google Hub and Hub Max devices in various rooms of the house and the photos cycle through there also. Lastly, since we have Pixel phones, all new pictures auto upload to Google Photos with the location and date...so it is just a matter of importing all past photos and adding a location and date if it isn't stored with the image. As you can tell, we are a google house and you need to be okay with that to have our set up.

After loosing photos on photobucket we use an external hard drive. We also use Amazon photos. It loads pictures from our phones to their cloud. Our photos become our tv's screen saver using the firestick. It's kind of fun when an old photo pops up. My grand daughter didn't realize that her mom was her age once upon a time until a photo of my daughter popped up on the tv. Every one becomes mesmerized when they see their young self and often times they tell the story beginning with I remember blah blah blah.
