Has anyone exchanged into WKORV through II?

I exchanged into the North property for next may. Also into the property on Kaiui. Helps to have the starwood preference, but others have been successful.

So no tuggers have been exchanged and been to the resort yet?

I have exchanged into both the South (August 2006) and the North (May 2008) Westin Kaanapali properties. Currently have one confirmed for May of next year into the new Westin Princeville.

I exchanged (II) into WKORV (2 bedroom) in April 2007 and have another 2 bedroom reserved next month.

I don't have Starwood preference, and my Marriotts rarely see this property available. In the past couple of weeks there have been many weeks available for exchange (Maui & Kauai) but I think most of them have now been taken. There was availability for both South & North with several check-in days (Fri, Sat. & Sun.) I was surprised because I've never seen so many Westin Maui or Kauai weeks at one time available for an II exchange.

I could have booked either the South or North property, but I liked the South location when I stayed there so I decided to take that in exchange again. The units were very nice.

We exchanged last year for this October. There was a big deposit, saw it during the preference period, but was still available 3 days later.

I think plenty of Tuggers have exchanged into WKORV through II. The vast majority have Starwood preference. I see that resort often with my Starwood deposits.

Do you pay any fees for the exchanged week when you check in/out?
Like taxes or parking or fees that I should be aware of?

All timeshares in Hawaii collect a Hawaii occupancy tax for the state. It varies depending on the size of the unit. When I recently booked an exchange into the Westin, I think it said it was over $10 per night for a 2 bedroom unit. You could call the resort where you are staying and ask them what they charge exchangers.

I don't recall the Westin charging for parking. I believe Marriott's Ko'Olina charges exchangers for parking ($21 per day?) if you aren't a Marriott owner.
