Giving a week away as a wedding present, has anyone ever had HGVC deliver champagne and flowers, or anything special like this?

A week is a great wedding gift (my brother did it for me) and an interesting question.

I'd think it could prolly be done at HHV, but not at smaller resorts (Miami Beach).
It might depend on whether the resort has a real concierge. Call them.

You may need to order a floral delivery thru a florist, and Fed-X the champagne.

Is it a hgvc resort or an affiliate? I would imagine that the orlando or Vegas or hawaii resorts probably would be able to accomodate this.. might not be as feasible in Gulf Coast of fl.. but call the resort to see.

Several years ago, I called to followup on a reservation at Tuscany. I mentioned that my son, that just graduated from college would be joining us. Upon our arrival, we found a "graduation bear and basket" waiting for him in the room. Made his day, and mine too!

Miami will send the gift to the room from any outside service. Just did a few weeks ago and was ready and waiting. Great, accommodating staff there in Miami.

Receiving packages!

We have had all kinds of packages and mail delivered to us in both Miami and Honolulu. The staff is always accommodating. In Miami they did deliver it to our room. They have very little space there to store anything. In Honolulu we get our packages at the front reservation desk by showing an ID. However, at times the staff knows us so well that they just give us the packages without showing an ID or flag us down when we are walking thru the lobby and tell us a package came for us. I don't think they would differentiate between a present and a package. Perhaps because we are Elite and own a number of units in South Beach; we have been given a bottle of champagne on ice with glasses when we arrive in South Beach as a complimentary gift delivered to the room.
