Thanks for the updates! Just booked my airline tickets for our March exchange. Last trip to Atlantis was 2016 when my daughter was 5. She is now 10 and looking forward to being able to get on all of the waterslides!!

I have a three-bedroom reserved for December in Phase II. Will be traveling with two other ladies. Is there any specific location I should request. I booked it using Staroptions. We have never been there. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I was actually so curious about the free Internet that I took another short trip just to check... :) - the advantage of living in Florida!

So yes, Internet was free, and the quality was very good in most places including at Atlantis pools and Cove beach. I had to renew the connection daily since after 24 hours it appeared connected but there was no data transfer.

Splashers construction was ongoing at a furious pace!

Yes - I used the "Atlantis Guest" network everywhere on my iPhone and it never asked for room number. Just had to make it forget the network and reconnect every 24 hours.

Just bumping this thread. Anyone been recently? On Tripadvisor there seem to be a lot of negative reviews about the state of the rooms. Any updates would be appreciated as we are looking to go for Spring Break 2024.

We just got back two weeks ago. Our rooms were in need of a refresh. We literally fixed six items in the rooms.....gasket on the refrigerator door, ball/cock on the toilet, faucet handles in the sinks, etc. The mattress was terrible, no support at all (I miss those heavenly beds), cookware was crap.....everything just looked dated and worn.

On the plus side, we had a fabulous seven days at Atlantis with the family. Harborside and Atlantis were not back to pre-covid crowds during our stay. Even the cruise ship crowds did not seem as impactful as previous years.

hospitality:
the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

maybe you are trying to sell or rent your week, or you were just lucky.

To anybody else, avoid this place like the plague.

-AC stop working in the middle of the night.
-Hot water is a hit or miss
-Food poisoning is included in the menu
-Workers think that they are making you a favor
-If you have to take the kids to the splasher’s pool, give them a booster Tetanus Shot.
-Shuttle service…

I came back here thinking that it would be good to bring business so it would benefit the workers, but they do not deserve it.

Not worth the aggravation.

I stayed at the Reef in January. I thought the workers seemed either extremely friendly or extremely nasty. Nassau looked pretty bad. On the way back to the airport the driver went south of Shirley Street. There were stray dogs running around, collapsed buildings, abandoned cars, etc. Those 1960s-era postcards of Nassau street scenes aren't accurate anymore.

I agree.....I was surprised how run down Nassau is becoming, especially the further you get from the cruise terminal.
