That number looks more like a reservation number and not a room number.

Starwood doesn't assign the room until 24 hours before check-in, so it is unlikely that you will get the unit on your confirmation.

1) I just returned from HRA and I was told you actually are initially assigned the unit on the confirmation. They sometimes switch you based on check-in patterns (i.e. they may switch people to try to get them in their rooms early if they have arrived early). Maybe it is different at HRA?

2) It's actually NOT hard to decipher the room number assigned to your trade. Simply check the "History" section of your II account and the Unit # is there for you to see. :D
