i have just booked our 3 bedroom lockoff with starwood can i split it up
if i am only going to use the 2 bedroom?
am i able to put the 1 bed to ii

Yes. To get the most trading power you will need to ensure that your week is put into II, since there aren't very many Harborside deposits made.

Another option would be to rent the 1BR and use the money to go somewhere else. Harborside is a pretty desirable location even in this economy.

Harborside is an awfully expensive week to deposit with II. 95% of what you might get back in exchange will be lower quality than your resort.

Consider doing a private exchange with another owner. For instance - you could split it and exchange the 2 bdm. with one owner and the a bdm. with another owner. The advantages of doing a direct exchange are:

1) You get the exact week and resort you want from the other owner.
2) You get the other owner's priority for view (like in Hawaii.)
3) You don't have pay two exchange fees.
Domestic $149.00
International $164.00​
4) You can make the exchange at 12 mos. out when the other owner can make their reservation.
