Happy New Year!

Another year of planning super vacations!

My vacation resolutions (plans) this year are:

1. Going to Marco Island and see The Florida Keys. I’m working on that as I speak.
2. I really want to see Costa Rica. I have heard so many good things about the country. I just have to check it out!
3. Oh yes, I need to continue to do my regular pilgrimage to PV. I think I will try for 3 weeks this year.

So, what’s your vacation resolutions in 2020? Are you planning new places or just happy with your regular ones? I know many folks here love Hawaii and return often. If so, is there any part of your regular pilgrimage you haven’t done yet that you want to do in 2020?

[triennial - points]
Next year we're waiting till the absolute final weeks before committing to RCI reservations -- i.e., holding out for 7-night reservations for 10,000 points & below instead of pulling the trigger prematurely on Last Call units. (We couldn't do that this year because we were out of points, limiting our selection to Last Call & Extra Vacation Getaway reservations.)

Happy New Year, be Safe, and enjoy your night.
This year we are planning to go to Paradise ( Hawaii) for the first time.
Two weeks in MB and two weeks in HHI.

Sometimes, those last calls can be great and, in a way, give you an idea to try a new place at a great price.

We haven’t decided where yet, but we’re going somewhere we haven’t been before. We’re currently closing on 2 resale contracts that will bump us from 450k to 779k so we have more points to play with. Can’t wait to start using them.

Don't do resolutions, So to speak. But this year, I'm in a quandry. We have too many TS points & I need to book some time. DW, left to herself- not that I wasn't a willing accomplice- has us booked on 4 weeks' of cruises. And just one (fixed) TS week. I need to burn through about 50K RCI Points and don't know what to do. We both have college night classes through Spring & Fall, and a second home to use too. Seriously, we've had some health challenges the last couple of years, and are hoping to get through next year upright and mobile.

Next up, a goodly chunk of January in PV.

Best Wishes to the TUG family. May you all stay healthy and your travel dreams come true!

Happy New Year!!

I have never made any NY's resolutions.

Vacations on the horizon so far....2020

We are making two trips to our usual place WDW (DVC Spring & Fall). We are also talking a 10 night cruise tour to (land first/southbound cruise) Alaska. We are planning on going back to Toronto for a few days (family) and possibly Chicago (DVC Friends meet).

No vacation for us, we are retired. Looks like we will be busy taking ski trips to TS at Taos, NM, Winter Park, CO, Aspen, CO and hopefully also Steamboat, CO. Two cruises back to back in Spring followed by 4 weeks in Europe and exchange TS week at Sedona in November. One or two car trips to Minnesota via Black Hills and Badlands NP, SD and hopefully more in colorful Colorado. New Year wish is to stay healthy and keep exploring!

My resolution is to go to Europe with my daughter and to travel without an itinerary . We want to wing it day to day depending on our mood and interests at the moment. I will travel with a backpack style carryon for even more freedom and spontaneity .

That my wife’s job lets her take week-long vacations so we could once again go to timeshares. Her job already torpedoed two TS vacations: one to Orlando and another to Hawaii. I thankfully got Wyndham pts back.
