I first heard the term hammock as a verb during college tours with my oldest DS a few years ago.

Today I am hammocking in the front yard with my youngest DS. We have a lot of camping equipment from scouts and my youngest has practically moved himself out here. So I moved the school books out with him and here we are! Originally he was in the backyard but the front yard has become more friendly with other neighbors also putting up their hammocks on the street side.

Not much to the story just a little rambling of what today is like...

Dd has been working from home since March. We have lovely portals off of all of the bedrooms. She is planning, once the weather is consistently nice, to move her "office" out to her portal. No hammocking though. ;)

My daughter was into "hammocking" a couple of years ago, when she was in high school. Bought a nice, very compact hammock and then her and her friends would go up hiking, set up their hammocks and hang out for a while. It seemed like it was quite popular for a while.

The Villa del Palmar Cancun has hammocks on the decks of the one bed units. They are big enough fo both my wife and I. Kind of different.

The property at Hilton Waikoloa has them all over the place.

When we walked through a large park near us recently, we saw three teenagers who had tied their small hammocks to trees close together and were hanging out to talk. Looked like fun!
