Holland America cancelled all cruises thru May 14th.
Passengers are offered a full refund or 125% FCC + $250 OBC per person.
For a 2-person cruise costing ~$2,000, that's additional credits of $1,000.
... a tidy little sum, if the cruise line doesn't go belly-up.

See: https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/news/impacted-cruises.html
for a list of affected cruises.

My cruise (5/23) is not yet cancelled, but I'm betting its not far behind.

Are they changing the name of the two ships? Cruising will bounce back and possibly a premium for ocean views/balconies/ owner suites. We have only cruised once but we went for Ocean view. Balcony with two 2.5 year olds was a no go at the time.

They prolly should change the name of the afflicted ships.
But they'll likely be the cleanest (most sanitary) in the fleet.

Those ships needs a very, very deep cleaning in all public areas, restaurants, the gym, main dining room, the theater and their guest and ship crew stateroom areas. Both ships needs to be repainted from top to bottom.
Changing their names would also be a fresh start for a new beginning IMO.

I think with all the people being stranded on these cruise ships, demand for cruising in the future will be lower. I think things like theaters and concerts (places with large crowds) will be slow to recover too. Also, many restaurants will not reopen as they were already riding a thin line.
