Additionally the State Agency responsible for Licensing her Profession is moving to revoke her license. In Oregon last week Counties could apply to move to Stage 1 reopening. All Counties applied except the 3 Counties (Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington) in the Portland area. Only 2 Counties were denied - Polk and Marion. Salem is in Marion County. We live in Salem. Marion County continues upward on the # of Covid19 cases. Many days Marion County has more new cases than Multnomah County even though Marion County Population is substantially smaller than Multnomah. Also Marion County is primarily rural while Multnomah County is primarily City and Suburbs.

It's nice to see the enforcement of the rules. Whatever it takes: fines, jail, licenses revoked for those that are going to ruin it for everyone else that has been sip for the past 2-3 months. Other's lives matter.

Since this is a TIMESHARE forum -
I will focus on on a timeshare contribution to this thread about rules in society .

1 ) Timeshares have HOA’s .
2 ) HOA’s have rules .

example - A two bedroom lockoff in Resort A. has a maximum occupancy of 6 .

If an owner or exchanger violates the occupancy rules they are subject to penalties such as cancellation ,
removal etc.

ALL societies in every country have to balance -
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND THE OVERALL SOCIETY FUNCTIONALITY .

- just as timeshare HOA’s have to balance your ownership rights vs. those of all owners and the long term
viability of the property they manage .

If she got the PPP funds in an illegal way, she will need to repay it when she can‘t pass the audit showing she used it within the PPP guidelines.

I’m sure she will simply have run payroll...and now also received revenue because she opened up. These aren’t mutually exclusive and are permitted. I don’t think it will be the PPP that gets her in trouble...it will be remaining open against local policies, and perhaps without social distancing and PPE.

FWIW, I don’t expect much oversight on the PPP or EIDL loans, but hope I’m wrong.
