I had a friend reach out tonight knowing that I deal with timeshares. They were interested in looking for a timeshare at hacienda Del Mar resort in Cabo. I told them I’d ask here and hopefully send him in the right direction. Is it part of the Sheraton? I know it’s not on the timeshare side but not sure if there was a mutual partnership to use the Sheraton facilities next door. Also, if anyone knows the resale market on this resort? Haven’t seen much on tug about it. Any information about the resort, area, owning here would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just glad he asked before buying full price and asking me about it after a rescission period.

Not sure what you mean by facilities but we used all the pools and restaurants on the compound. We really enjoyed it at Hacienda but you’ll need a car to get into town. It’s a long walk to the bus stop.

HDM is seldom sold by the developer (they will sell you a 10-15 year contract from upgrades) but they own Solaz which is their modern property a little closer to San Jose that they are selling now.
You can find resale HDM occasionally on TUGG, Redweek and even Ebay. The developer is very consistent and has a good reputation for quality and customer service.
HPM does have a shuttle bus (fee) for an occacional trip to town or as other have said it might be better to rent a car for your stay as this resort is isolated without any off site dinning options. It's a beautiful, quiet, traditional Mexican decor resort that is a little on the pricey side for F&B.

Thank you! Guess I’ll just start looking for a cheap resale deal for them
