Does anyone know if Hacienda del Mar has wireless in the units? or even dial-up? Thanks.

Yes, you have to pay for internet service in the unit. Last time we were there, it was about $18/day. When we were there in August it was not wireless in the units you have to use an ethernet cable which they will supply if you don't have one. However, they did have wireless around the pool.

Thanks for the info. $18 a day is steep. Do they computers in the hotel that can be used for much less per session? Thanks.

Yes, but it too is pretty expensive. It's in the business center in the Sheraton Hotel next door which HDM guests can use. For this reason we haven't used them in a very long time so I don't know the cost now. It's better to go into town and use one of the many internet cafe's.
