I have been contacted by Great WesternFunding who state they have a buyer for my Marriott timeshare. Does anyone know of these people and what is the best way to check them out

Just the name says Scammer

If they called you out of the blue, and are offering you more that the market value, because,
We make our money on financing
We have client that wants this for conventions
We have a client that needs the tax write offs,
or any such stuff, they are going to get you to pay them in advance a fee, it may be called Escrow, Taxes, prepaid maintenance fee, their commission, ( because we can't collect out of escrow because we aren't realtors)

. . . . and then they will disappear with your money.

There is no buyer.

It is 99.999% a scam.

Nothing found for Great Western Funding

Seems these scammers are making phone calls before they even have a website set up. Googling the name comes up with NOTHING related to timeshares.
