I'm a Yankee hater in the sense that the Yankees are the Red Sox archrivals but nobody can deny the history and greatness that is The Yankees, and I absolutely love Derek Jeter. He is, in my opinion, the consummate professional baseball player. Every fan is lucky to be able to watch him and every team would be lucky to have him. I think it's great that he broke Gehrig's record in the "old" Yankee Stadium, and his address to the fans after the final game was perfect.

That said, Go Sox!
