We like it. We stayed there twice. We were owners but sold it. They are large 1 bedroom units. I don't like that a 2 bedroom is just 2 1 bedrooms, I don't need my kids having their own stove and all. It's quieter but you can still walk to a casino that is right next door.

regarding grandview

We have stayed at the Grandview now 3 times. Great spot ifyou do not want to be in the middle of the strip. Grab a rental car, do some driving.
And enjoy the South Point. It is a great casino that never gets any love publicity wise.
Still is construction going on, but never bothered us much.

Many TUG reviews of the Grandview

There are over 20 reviews of this resort in the TUG reviews.

I've stayed there a couple of times and really liked it.

We (my neighbors and I) give South Point plenty of love. And I often mention it here, especially when recommending Grandview. South Point is a good place for people with teens. They can go to the movies, bowl, and have ice cream in the ice cream parlor. The buffet is reasonably priced, and there are horse shows on many weekends, some of them free.

If you are a senior, get a club card and you can go to the movies during the day on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur for $3.

We stayed at the Grandview last May and loved it. We went with another couple and had a two BR unit in the Primrose Bldg. It was really great because we both had a seperate unit. It's nice after a long day of sightseeing to come back to the unit at night, shower and sit around in your pj's watching TV each having their own privacy. They have two pools, both were great. Plenty of chairs and lounges for sun bathing and the SouthPoint Casino is within walking distance from the resort. They have shows, movies, bowling, restaurants and the slots and table games are great. Who would even need to go to the strip..........everything was right there. Of course, we did go to the strip, enjoyed ourselves there but couldn't wait to get back to the Grandview and sanity.

I just returned from a stay at the South Point. This is a great place to gamble and eat. The dealers are, for the most part, very nice and the cocktail waitresses are out of this world. They have wonderful restaurants for Prime Rib, Steak, Mexican and Italian. We noticed that the Grandview was just across the street and thought it would be a good place to stay for us South Point fans.
