Hello
Thank you in advance for your advice-I own 2 WKV that I bought resale each one has 81000 SO that aren’t convertible to Starpoints (which is now Bonvoy) and ability to use the Marriott resorts and some of the other Westin hotel properties I would enjoy staying at. I could “grandfather” these in and keep my original purchase by purchasing in Cancun at the Westin Spa and Resort as its being converted to Villas. The lowest option is 44000 points EOY for $10,000. I paid $2500 and $5000 on WKV weeks 44 and 39 respectively. Is there any other lower cost option?

What are you trying to accomplish by requalifying your two resale Kierland weeks?

The MF's on your units is $1,645/year each and the conversion rate into Bonvoy points is not good. Bonvoy points are generally vaued at $0.0075 - $0.008. Unless you would get 200K Bonvoy points for each, you would be losing money every time you convert them -- in addition to the $10K they want to charge you for this privilege.

There is discussion that we will know more by the end of the year how MVC and Vistana owners will be able to cross pollinate. I would wait before making any decisions.
