H means it's a developer deposit. There must be a typo. The unit codes there are OCEO & OCES.

It sounds like you're looking on Marriott.com. If so they list the Ocean side units as courtyard view at Barony, Surfwatch and GO likely because actual view cannot be guaranteed.

Correct......

But let's define "Oceanside" (now called "Courtyard" to take away that "view" aspect and connotation that the term Oceanside gave)......
the easy way to look at it is what's it's NOT (looking at Barony first)...... it's not Oceanfront or Garden section.
So, Courtyard would be all else, basically what's on the deeds as "Oceanside" (redefined as "Courtyard"), and those are all of the parallel buildings
between the clubhouse and the large "gazebo" pool whose balconies all FACE INWARD into the beautiful Live Oak trees
(excluding the OF units on the end which all face the ocean directly).
Barony: Garden section at top right (note blue pool), OS & OF are in the two parallel columns perpendicular to ocean.

For Surfwatch it's similar.....Oceanside villas are in the middle within two buildings at the resort's largest pool.
They're not OF and they're not Garden, all being fairly distinguishable.
The Garden section is back by the beautiful pond, essentially separate, and has "3 1/4 buildings"---the two largest buildings immediately looking to the upper end of the pond, then a third building where the lobby & offices are (one end slightly looking to the pond), and then a portion of an OS building, ie, a single stack of Garden villas hooked on the back side of one of the OS buildings, but angled to the pond and looking into the trees (I just learned this!!),
and the Oceanside section in the middle overlooking the pool,
and then the "Oceanfront" (NOT) building further toward the ocean (it's closest to the ocean, but not the traditional oceanfront--more like ocean view
from a distance).

And for Grande Ocean, they're NOT Oceanfront, but they are "everything else" (no Garden section).
The 10 GO buildings are arranged as two large adjacent "U" sections (UU with left being the North side and right being the South side....
5 buildings in each U), with the open end of the U's facing the ocean.
So the 4 L-shaped OF buildings are the four tip ends of the 2 horseshoes. Half of those buildings (at the N & S ends of the resort)
contain some Oceanside villas---those OS wings face the interior, lagoon or pool, while the OF villas directly face the ocean.
The two other OF buildings in the middle of the resort are also L-shaped, but the whole buildings are exclusively OF.

Sorry, it was HOCEO. Would that be ocean front?
Have you traveled on your exchange? Wonder what your experience was. Did they keep you in the oceanfront unit type or were you bumped down? Asking for a friend :)
