Just receive an email from HGVC for a Grand Opening introductory offer to stay in the Grand Waikikian from Dec 08 to Feb 09 (min of a 3 night stay). It all starts at $299 per night. I can just imagine what the price is for the better rooms. It doesn't mention having to take a HGVC tour, however, I bet if you can to make a reservation they will throw some perks or discount if you take the tour. Mention Plan Code P1 when calling HGVC.
