Grand Old Opry

We are going to be in Nashville the first week in Nov and have Grand Old Opry tickets. It is being held at the Ryman starting that week and I am looking for suggestions of places to have dinner close by before the show. Also is there parking?

Puckett's Gro and Restaurant

The food is delicious and it's in walking distance of the Ryman.
Highly recommend! I ate there with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic time and enjoyed the food.

John's (or Jack's) BBQ is across the alley from the Ryman...it is very good. Not fancy, but good BBQ. I usually park on the street after 6 (some is free parking after 6). The library also has a big parking garage by the convention center.

I have always parked at the library garage - very convenient. Have fun, Nashville is my favorite place

I'll second Demos'. There's a parking garage fairly close as well. Love it when the Grand Ole Opry is back in The Ryman, during the holiday season when the Rockettes are at the new Opry.

We are really looking forward to the trip and have friends joining us for the week. Have only been in Nashville once and it was only for two days.
