First timer here. Need advice for private taxi for 2 people from SJD Airport to Grand Mayan in San Jose Del Cabo. Price? Would you purchase round trip in advance? We like online booking and good communication from travel service. Thanks!

I used Cabo Transfers to get to and from Playa grande two weeks ago. I booked online, and communication was excellent.

I looked at a number of services listed on Trip Advisor and chose this because it was the cheapest non-shared ride.

We've done the group free shuttle and had to wait a LONG time for it. I'd be interested in a private taxi next time too. I'll be watching to see what the prices are like.

From what I've learned today, the taxi to the hotel is about $60. The return to the airport is about $30 and you can get there faster by paying the driver the extra to take the toll road. I'm going to book the one-way to the GM in advance and hail a taxi separately for the return. Will report back on experience with the one I hire.

We used the free shuttle arranged through the Grand Mayan and it was fine. Not a long wait. I guess it depends on when your flight arrives and if they have to wait for other passengers. The return to the airport is much cheaper and the resort will call you a taxi.
