I was just confirmed in a two bedroom at the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya for end of Oct 2009.

Do all the 2bd's have personal jacuzzis?

All the 1 and 2 bedrooms do

have the dip pool on the deck, the 2 bedrooms have a soaking tub in the 1 bedroom side, and a jetted tub in the hotel unit side.

Electric Converters Needed

Do you know if there are 110 volt standard US electical outlets or if you need converters for things like chargers, radios, etc? I'm leaving tomorrow!

Can't wait!!!!

Standard 110 service. No need for converters.

We had a wonderful stay in a 2 bedroom unit at the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya in May 2008. They have the single finest swimming pool I have ever seen. I don't play golf, but the golf course is lovely. The food is excellent. I strongly recommend the tour to Chichen Itza with the Cenote swim, especially if you are a history buff. Take some time to visit Playa Del Carmen. The town is delightful and has a beach that is nicer than Cancun's IMHO. We took the Romantic Dinner Cruise in Cancun and had a great time as well. The Grand Mayan Riviera Maya was one of our best exchanges.

How are the beds set up? Is there a pull out in each bedroom or something? Then one in the living room?

Im trying to figure out where everyone is going to sleep ...

The living room has 2 sofas with trundles under them. If I were sleeping on them, I would sleep on the sofa rather than the trundle. Each of the bedrooms has a loveseat that also has a trundle. Our 9-1/2 year old grandson slept on one of those. Some of the 2-bedroom units have 2 double or queen beds in the 2nd bedroom instead of a king. At least I know that the model unit did.

Oh I would love one with 2 beds, instead of a king. Can you request that set up? That would make things much easier.

I don't know, but it would not hurt to ask. The model with the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom was in NV. We were glad to get 2 units with king beds in both bedrooms as we had 4 married couples and only 2 kids. They also have nice portable baby beds that are free if you need them. Just call housekeeping once you get to your unit.

Here is a link to the GM wesite. It says 2 king beds. http://grupomayan.com/the-grand-mayan/accommodations-3/

Yeah, from what I can tell GM Riviera Maya in only 2 king beds. Still ok thought. We'll make do. DS can sleep on the pullout in the 2nd bedroom.
