Thanks

GM 1 in 4? Yes they are (and very often no consecuttve weeks either) , just like every other Mayan Palace property - so if you've been to one, you can't go back to any through RCI for another 4 years....Unless they've chnged things however, there is no 1 in 4 with Dial An Exchange/Donitas or SFX

Does this mean that if you stay at the Grand Mayan or Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta that you cannot then stay in the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya for another 4 years?

I believe it means no MP property of any kind again for 4 years. From the sound of things they do keep track and they will cancel you.

yes it means that thrgouh RCI you are essentially locked out for 4 years and I think they do check - so the questions is do you want to take a chance and have them deny you a room when you arrive....not this little camper. Now, I don;t think the "locked out" would apply if you rented from an owner, 'casue then you would be a guest of that owner. ON Ebay, I guess it would dpened on whther what was offered was an owner owned week or an attempt to rent an exchnged wekk. In the latter, it's against RCI's rules and even if it escaped RCI's notice (unlikely in my view) you'de be there on a guest certificate and they might decline your reservation...

Just my $.02 worth
