Long time time sharer, but been out of it for a few years. I used to go to Puerto Vallarta a lot, but it's been about 15 years. At the time they only had a Mayan Palace. My friends are letting me stay in their 2BR Grand Luxxe next week. Hopefully Pamela didn't do much damage. We stayed in the Riviera Maya location 3 years ago and what a treat.
Besides not doing the sales pitch, any recommendations? I have no idea what the building even looks like. Any room or location recommendations? I have been to Cancun and Cabo at least 20 times in the last 15 years, but just haven't made it to PV. I know NV is a lot more developed, but I hardly know what to expect.

You will have a great time, regardless of which building you are in. The units are significantly larger than MP units and the decks are amazing!

Pack your patience! GL at NV is stunning! But if you get a higher numbered building than 3, you'll either have long hikes or depend on shuttles. In our experience in June, the shuttles were massively scaled back compared to pre-covid norm, so if that hasn't improved, you may have a choice between "hiker" and "zen queue member"

And TravelTime is spot-in. Anything you say as far as wants or preferences can and will be used against you by the marketing team.

So I wonder if you ask for building 5 that they would put you in building 1, lol.

We were in NV the beginning of the month. Never had more than a 5 minute wait for a shuttle.
