I actually didn’t take any of the room in the GI. It would sort of been trying to take a picture of what was NOT there. Your photos are of a room that is definitely more roomy than what we had.
What was your room number (30xx)?
I might be able to find a photo or video from that location so we can warn others.;)

I think that the difference is room specific not floor specific. Both standard 2BR and 2BR Luxury Ocean View list a range of square footage of 912-1039. 127 square feet difference; it is the size of a nice size bedroom so spreading it out in the living room and kitchen can make quite a difference in the sizes of those spaces.

May be correct. I have no way of knowing. But in a building that’s got 13% occupancy, I’d like to think they’d assign us to a “good” room when I‘ve chosen at the high end. To be fair, I took advantage of a 50% off points offer to book it. Sure glad I did — would have been very unhappy to pay full fare.

But nobody should get me wrong. We love HHV. We own 3 weeks in Lagoon Tower. We just wanted to see what “more” would buy. And now we know... it buys less.

I did write the HGV General Manager a scathing email about HHV being “open” but not having a single, not one, poolside facility open for the guests, and owners, that are coming. I don’t find “we’d lose money” to be a defense. If I get sick and can’t use my TS, I don’t get a refund on my maintenance fees. I don’t expect a fully operating facility. But it’s not too much to ask that they have ONE Hilton operated poolside bar/grill open. We all take a risk, they should assume theirs.

Based on the attachment, it looks like xx11 is a corner unit which explains the different configuration (See photo).
I couldn’t locate photos/video of xx11 :( but I found video/photos of other GI rooms (See below)

Also, for those who are not familiar with Lagoon Tower oceanfront (two bedroom premier), here’s a video
