Just arrived at GD to check into my 3 Bedroom Presidential. At check in they tell us that they have no 3 bedrooms. So not only will we nor be getting the 3 bedroom presidential but we will not be getting a 3 bedroom at all. They didn’t even think to offer us an adjustment On points. They did offer a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom which does not work because of the kids We have on the trip. We ended up in a 2 bedroom lock off but I am very confused we were on the phone with them every day confirming and they even told us we had 2 3 bedroom reservation. To top it off we found out we are on the DNG again.

I hope that I would not encounter similar behavior. I’m hoping this is growing pains operating in covid era.

I just needed to vent. I hope that the owner care will do something about it.

Call Owner's Care and have them open a ticket. I had a bumpy start at Emerald Grande. We almost left. They downgraded us from the 4 and then we had seriously dead palmetto bugs in the unit (like stuck to the floor) and a non-working refrigerator. I had expected higher cleaning protocols, not lower, so I called in. We did get moved to a clean unit and everything was perfect from that time on. I had a case manager call me twice. She gave me some points back (but really we were so happy with our stay it wasn't important to me as it discounted and upgraded anyway.)

I haven't had much success at GD. My room wasn't ready until 10pm and then when they said that it was ready, they told me that it had a strong odor in the unit. Someone had cooked something with some really potent spices. We had to move the next day. I met my upstairs neighbor at the pool and she could even smell it. They gave me $200 property credit which I had turned into Amex for our troubles. It was probably more than what I had paid for the room. The manager there was very nice.
