We have a Grand Bliss contract that we do not pay MF if we do not use it. In year 10 the fee must be paid to continue the non pay if you don't use. Somewhere in these threads i thought i read that it goes away if you don't pay that fee in year 10. We want to get out of this timeshare because we are not going to be using it. Can we get out of it legally. Is there a deed back or a way to get out of the contract after these many years. We purchased it in 2010 and do not pay MF until October 2020. Any ideas on how to get out of it?

If you do not pay the renewal fee at the end of 10 years, it is no longer yours. It does not matter whether you went every year or never. Sad to say, but there is no way to sell it because generally the contracts have a 10 current MF and Grand Bliss MF are pretty high. Either option will leave you having lost your original purchase dollars. These are the hard cruel facts.

Do not try to sell it thorough one of those companies - they will want money upfront and still will not sell it. Just bide your time and count it as a lesson learned.

There is no deed since it is RTU ( right to use ) contract .

If you wish to clarify how 2020 works : Contact Vidanta Member Services in Nuevo Vallarta
They can email you a PDF of your contract if needed .

FYI - if you are able to take vacations .
You can choose to pay a MF and deposit a week into RCI for TPU's
or SFX (and I believe get two weeks on exchange )
both of these options require paying the exchange company an exchange fee after finding another resort to visit .

Everything pittle / Phyllis said is true / DO NOT spend any additional money in an attempt to sell .The contract will end if no renewal payment is done in year 10

Thank you for your input! We were thinking it would end, but I wanted to get other opinions. TUG people are a wealth of information. Would love to hear from anyone else that has input.
