Got into Marriott Ko Olina with an exchange, can I rent it?

This is my first year as a new TS owner and I got all goofed up listing my Exchange in Interval, and landed Ko Olina for Jan 4-11 next year, 2 bedroom oceanview. Flights are pricey from where I live and don't think I can come up with the money to do this.

Am I able to rent this? I wasn't sure if Interval/Marriott permitted that figuring it was an exchange, and not something I owned directly but traded my Marriott TS into.

No, II will not allow you to rent an exchange. If you do, and they find out, they could cancel the visit & your renter will have to sleep on the beach. They could also freeze/cancel your acct. Have people rented II exchanges in the past? Sure. But I wouldn't take the risk.

I agree. I had my II account suspended on suspicion of renting an II exchange. I wasnt, but II made it clear that they actively look for the rentals of high demand exchanges.

Try giving it to friends or family.
