For over one year I have had the google toolbar on my computer. It was very handy. I found out the hard way that Google Does Not Like any other toolbars. Particularly if they have a search function. I have been unable to remove the Google toolbar without ruining my internet explorer. In fact, I had to do a system restore for my explorer to work.

Consequently, I am stuck with the google toolbar. I will not be using or dowloading any google products in the future.

I tried uninstalling it. That caused the problem with explorer.

had the same issue and removed it...there is a setting within IE internet options to "enable third party browser extensions"

turn that off and you can go back to regular IE stuff.
