Yesterday I found out that Fred in Colorado, cotraveller here and elsewhere, passed away Nov. 9th. I'm sure that others beside myself will miss his knowledge and help about WorldMark.

Wow, this is heavy news. I see that his last post here was on Nov 2. That was sudden (at least to me), condolence to his family.

Thanks for letting us know. Do you know if wmtsinfo.com will continue to be maintained? I don't go to that site but I think he managed that site.

Heard elsewhere about his passing... Just needed to acknowledge it here. Despite all our difference... I enjoyed our talks. Didn't see this coming...

I think it was sudden, several weeks ago we were discussing getting together in Vegas the first week of December.

I also think that wmtsinfo was his site, I don't think anyone else was involved with it.

It seems odd to feel the loss of someone you never met.

BUT I do feel a significant loss when I hear of the passing of one of my TUG friends.

Rest in Peace Fred

I imagine Fred's timeshare activities were only a minor part of his life. Still, I found his Worldmark site incredibly useful, and would like to tell his family so. Does anyone know how to contact his family?

Fred offered his help freely and generously. May he R.I.P. and his family find peace.

The obituary that Rhonda linked to has a guest book. His wife, JoAnn, will see it. I'm still having problems accepting the fact that he won't suddenly email me about their plans for Vegas in Dec.

Both he and his wife were so wonderful to my family, they would visit with my Mom even when I couldn't make it to Vegas when they were there. They would take her to a casino when she was able to go and help her play video poker or a slot machine, making sure she knew what cards she had (she had macular degeneration and couldn't see much) or just visited with her when she couldn't get out any more. Mom always looked forward to their visits. I will definitely miss his information and guidance on several things (we used to talk photography stuff, too).

I don't know why but I don't remember his posts. I'm not a Wyndham owner, so that's probably why. Sounds like I must have missed some really good posts by him. Very sorry to hear of a fellow Tugger's passing. May he rest in peace and prayers for his family.

It is sad and my condolences to his family.

What an amazing time we live in where people like him and many others can touch others life's without ever meeting.
