Could someone tell me a good car rental agency in St. Maarten? We lost the card for the great one we have used in teh past. Thanks

We've rented from Joyce Prince for years. Her business is now called Joyce Personal Services. Good and honest service.

I have had very good experiences with Lesley Bruce at Kenny's car rental. The conventional wisdom over on the sxm (ttol) site is contact any of the locals companies such as Kenny's, unity, aaa, etc and just go with the availability and price. Another suggestion is to request a scratch and dent car, no hassles if you get a bump somewhere. Also be sure to NEVER leave ANYTHING in the car EVER and ask the rep if and where you should lock or not lock the doors. Breakins are common so if unlocked they do no damage to the locks. All that being said I have never had a breakin or experienced any crime in 20+ visits.

Make sure to check that there is a spare tire in the car when you pick it up and that it is still there when you drop it off. A few years ago spare tire theft was all the rage there and the first thing that car rental companies did when you returned the car was to make sure that the spare tire was still there.
